Cuckoo clock

A cuckoo clock was a novelty timepiece that made the sound of a cuckoo bird.

In 2268, Montgomery Scott responded to Spock's reminder of the time he had left to cut off the USS Enterprise's fuel supply by saying he didn't "need a blooming cuckoo clock". (TOS: "That Which Survives")
