Creature comfort

A creature comfort was anything that made one's life enjoyable.

In 2374, The Doctor noted that Jefferies tubes on USS Voyager weren't created with creature comforts in mind, as one couldn't even stand up in them. (VOY: "One")

According to Quark, Humans had the potential to become awful if they were deprived of their creature comforts, among other hardships. (DS9: "The Siege of AR-558")

In 2376, Neelix noted that great explorers prior to him, Chakotay, Harry Kim, and Tom Paris survived without creature comforts. (VOY: "Memorial")
