Crazy Ivan
Crazy Ivan was a maneuver, developed for use by submarines, wherein a vessel did a 180-degree turn at potentially dangerous speed to view and target its stern.
In 2380, while facing conflict with a Clicket ship, Captain Carol Freeman asked the USS Cerritos bridge crew for options and Ensign Brad Boimler suggested doing a Crazy Ivan, among other evasive maneuvers. The senior officers were dumbfounded by his suggestion. (LD: "Veritas")
