Craig Sweeny is a writer and producer who worked as consulting producer on the first season of Star Trek: Discovery. In this capacity, he wrote the teleplay for the episode "Context Is for Kings", along with Aaron Harberts and Gretchen J. Berg. He also wrote and served as executive producer on Star Trek: Section 31.

Prior to Star Trek, he worked as a producer on The 4400 (created by René Echevarria and executive produced by Ira Steven Behr), Medium, Common Law and Elementary. He also created the television series Limitless.
