A convenience store was a type of retail establishment that sold a variety of items.

In 2000, when stopping to refuel her car, Shannon O'Donnel bought a bag of chocolate chip cookies at a convenience store. She decided to return to Portage Creek because the cookies didn't taste good, something she attributed to her missing Henry Janeway. (VOY: "11:59")
