Contender Books was a UK-based book publishing division of film and DVD distribution company Contender Entertainment Group that in 2003 published Beyond the Final Frontier.

In 2007, Contender Entertainment Group was acquired by home entertainment company Entertainment One. [1] In 2019, Hasbro acquired Entertainment One. [2] In 2023, Hasbro sold the company (by then branded as eOne) to Lionsgate. [3]
