Construction team

A construction team was a type of away team who specialized in construction work.

At the conclusion of second contact with the Galardonians in 2380, Commander Jack Ransom of the USS Cerritos informed their chancellor that they would "be sending construction teams down to help with the subspace comm array" as soon as they completed loading up their own supplies.

Later, a team lead by Lieutenant Commander Andy Billups arrived to set up the array so that the Galardonians could communicate with the rest of the Federation. (LD: "Second Contact")
