Concession speech

A concession speech was a speech given to acknowledge that the speaker was conceding defeat.

In 2370, when Winn Adami expressed her belief that Bajorans knew Bareil Antos was meant to be the next kai, Kira Nerys asked if she was making a concession speech, which Winn denied, noting that there will still two more days in the election campaign and the Prophets might surprise everyone.
