A compressed tetryon beam weapon was a type of tetryon-based directed energy weapon.

In 2370, Odo suspected a weapon of this type had been used by Trazko to shoot Quark, because the weapons scanners hadn't been triggered. According to Doctor Bashir, Quark's injuries, which included a ruptured thoracic cavity and extensive neural trauma, were consistent with the effects of such a weapon. (DS9: "Necessary Evil")
