Cognitive center

The cognitive center was the section of the brain responsible for processing thought, senses, and experiences.

In 2376, a Ba'Neth directed energy weapon sent Lieutenant Commander Tuvok into neuroleptic shock, resulting in brain damage to Tuvok's cognitive, memory, and logic centers. (VOY: "Riddles")
