"Fragile, good cleavage"

Cleavage was a geological term referring to the direction in which a rock split when pressure was exerted upon it.

In 2267, Spock described a flat rock he examined on the planet Gamma Trianguli VI as "fragile, [with] good cleavage." (TOS: "The Apple")
