Chronicle LLC, branded and marketed as as Chronicle Collectibles, was a privately-held American collectibles company that was incorporated in Irving, Texas in 2013. The company manufactured a wide range of licensed products from a number of different "genre" entertainment franchises.
Bankruptcy
On 4 September 2020, the company sent an email to customers, asserting that its recent social media blackout was due to difficulties brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, the resulting cutbacks to its staff, and its serious problems with production and distribution. [1]
In late 2020, a number of Chronicle's customers received cancellation notices for their orders, and some received refunds. [2] On 2 October 2020, the company's law firm published a letter indicating that Chronicle was having financial problems. [3] On 10 November 2020, a follow-up letter announced that the company would pursue bankruptcy in the near future. [4]
Only a small number of licensed Star Trek products were actually released by Chronicle.
