Chris Kula is a writer, comedian and producer who wrote three episodes for Star Trek: Lower Decks across the show's first three seasons. A self-described "professional phrase-turner," Kula has written for Mad TV, on which Lower Decks alum Gillian Vigman also appeared, and ten episodes of the animated comedy Close Enough, which starred Lower Decks lead Fred Tatasciore. In addition to his writing work, Kula has also performed as part of the Upright Citizens Brigade, a long-standing improv group based in Los Angeles.
