Choking reflex

The choking reflex was a reflex triggered by the consumption of certain foods.

In 2375, Neelix assured Chakotay that once one got past the choking reflex, a Talaxian theta radiation remedy comprised of crushed rama leaf and Katyllian cloves was better than it seemed. (VOY: "Juggernaut")
