Chicago Review Press is an independent American book publisher that in 2024 published The Most Human.

Founded in 1973 by Northwestern University English instructors Curt and Linda Matthews, it has grown to a midsize publisher of books in a wide range of subjects including history, popular science, biography, memoir, music, film, and travel. In 1987, it acquired the book distribution company Independent Publishers Group (IPG), which distributes the works of Chicago Review Press and hundreds of other book publishers throughout the United States and worldwide.
