Chi Leonis, also known as 63 Leonis, was a star system in the Beta Quadrant.

Stellar system

This was a binary star system consisting of the stars Chi Leonis A and Chi Leonis B. The primary Chi Leonis A was a F-type giant.

History

In 2257, during the first Federation-Klingon War, this system was occupied by the Klingons. (DIS: "The War Without, The War Within")

Stellar cartography

The Chi Leonis system was located in the constellation Leo. This system was approximately 95 light years from Sol.

In the 2150s, this system's position was labeled on an United Earth star chart which was displayed in several crew and guest quarters aboard the Enterprise. (Star Trek: Enterprise, set decoration))

In 2256, the system's location was labeled on the star chart "Alpha/Beta Quadrant Overview" in the ready room aboard the USS Discovery. (DIS: "Magic to Make the Sanest Man Go Mad")

This star system was only mentioned in writing.
