Checkout was a designated time each day after which one could sign out of a hotel.

In 1893, the Hotel Brian's checkout was at noon the next day. (TNG: "Time's Arrow")

In 2374, The Doctor woke a sleeping Neelix in sickbay with the words, "It's checkout time." (VOY: "Demon")
