Character sketch

A character sketch was an idea for potential fictional characters and the plots surrounding them.

In 2372, Jake Sisko recorded several character sketches for stories he planned to write, including, "A Bolian tries to impress a dabo girl by wearing a toupee. A thief disguises himself as a monk so he can swindle a Ferengi. A woman travelling alone. She's come a long way." (DS9: "The Muse")
