Chanockian

Chanockian is a chemical element listed on the Table of Elements. It is a member of the transonic series. (TNG: "Rascals")

The elements in the table included in-jokes to production staff. (Star Trek: The Next Generation Companion, 2nd ed., p. 70) This element was named after production staff associate Ed Charnock, a paint director for Star Trek productions.
