Chandran

Chandrans were a non-humanoid, telepathic species native to Chandra V. Their psyche was said to be very different from that of most humanoids; their minds were described as "glacial," and they apparently did things very slowly and calmly. Even their way of just saying "hello" was a three-day ritual.

Tam Elbrun was assigned to Chandra V as a Federation delegate in 2366; at that time he was the Federation's only delegate to this species. He considered the ritual to be "lovely". (TNG: "Tin Man")
