Chain of Command is a Blu-ray Disc release, featuring a theatrical-length re-edit of "Chain Of Command, Part I" and "Chain Of Command, Part II" in 1080p high-definition. The set was released in North America on 24 June 2014. [1]

Outside North America, the set was released in Australia and was released in Germany on 4 September 2014 at select supermarkets [2] [3] and at Amazon.de on 5 March 2015. It was not scheduled for release in the United Kingdom or other European territories. Unlike previous theatrical-length releases it will not be released in Japan. [4]

As with the previous theatrical-length releases all special features are only included on this release and not in any of the regular boxed season releases. The Blu-ray features a new documentary, deleted scenes, episodic promos, and an audio commentary from Michael and Denise Okuda, actor Ronny Cox, and director of photography Jonathan West, recorded on 12 March 2014. This particular release was reissued in whole, as part of the October/November 2019 Star Trek: Picard Movie & TV Collection Blu-ray release.
