Carolyn Scott
Carolyn Scott (born 24 August 1960; age 64) is an actress who played the Romulan Praetor in the Star Trek: Strange New Worlds first season episode "A Quality of Mercy".
Beginning in 1986, Scott has appeared in a large number of television projects, usually in smaller roles. She can be seen in episodes of series like War of the Worlds (with Shelley Owens), Goosebumps, Twice in a Lifetime (with Corbin Bernsen), Queer as Folk, Monk (with Stephen McHattie and Alan van Sprang), Covert Affairs (with Oded Fehr), Heartland, and In the Dark (with Thamela Mpumlwana, Derek Webster, and Adrian Walters).
She also appeared in several television movies, including Critical Choices (1996), Any Mother's Son (1997, with Paul Popowich, Allan G. Royal, and Mimi Kuzyk), DC 9/11: Time of Crisis (2003, with Gregory Itzin, Stephen Macht, Lawrence Pressman, George Takei, and Allan G. Royal), Confessions of an American Bride (2005, with Alan Van Sprang), Trump Unauthorized (2005, with Saul Rubinek), Valentine Ever After (2016, with Damon Runyan), and The Truth About Christmas (2018, with Xavier Sotelo).
Her very few feature film credits include the 1987 comedy Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol (with David Graf, Derek McGrath, Brian Tochi, Arthur Batanides, and TJ Scott), the 1999 thriller Pushing Tin (with John Carroll Lynch), the 2005 drama The Prize Winner of Defiance, Ohio, and 2019 comedy drama Buffaloed.
Scott is also a prolific voice actress who lent her voice to animated shows like Best Ed, Cyberchase (with Jason Deline and Christopher Lloyd), Arthur, Total Dramarama (with Bahia Watson), and Ollie's Pack (with Ana Sani), and a number of video games.
