The Captain's Logbuch II is an episode guide written by Mark A. Altman that covered the sixth and seventh seasons of Star Trek: The Next Generation, and includes a thirteen-page interview with the producers and actors of the series. It was the sequel to the Captain's Logbuch written by Altman and Edward Gross. It was published in 1995 by Heel-Verlag in Germany in a version translated by Almut Bastin and Claudia Kern.

Anyone who wants to have a say in Trek matters cannot ignore this new supplementary volume.

Background information

The book is a compilation of the books Captains' Logs Supplemental (Season 6) and Captains' Logs Supplemental II (Season 7) previously published by Boxtree. Edward Gross also worked on the latter reference work, but he is not mentioned in Captain's Logbook II.
