Canonization

Canonization was the elevation of a person to a saintly status.

Shortly before the Battle of Cardassia in 2375, Major Kira Nerys answered Damar and Garak's praise of her essential role in the establishment of the Cardassian Liberation Front by telling him to not canonize her yet. (DS9: "What You Leave Behind")
