Campor III

Campor III was the inhabited third planet in its star system. This planet was located somewhere in the Alpha or Beta Quadrant.

This planet was in the process of being colonized in 2371, when Dr. Julian Bashir was scheduled to assist in setting the colony's field hospital.

After the scheduled transport from Vulcan was delayed, Bashir became concerned that if he didn't get the medical supplies he needed by the end of the week that entire colonization schedule would be set back. He requested a runabout to retrieve supplies for the colonists, but Major Kira Nerys denied his request. She stated that the station couldn't "spare a runabout to go all the way to Vulcan right now," and expressed her lack of concern for the colonization schedule. Kira bluntly concluded, "Those colonists can make do with a box of bandages for all I care". (DS9: "Defiant")

According to Star Trek: Star Charts ("United Federation of Planets I"), in 2378, Campor III was listed as a Federation member. Note: The Roman numeral I was inadvertently dropped from this name, so the name reads Campor II.
