Burt Armus was a notable humanoid comedian.

In 2365, Data attempted to locate a comedian to help him better understand the concept of "what is funny?". Armus was among the holodeck program files that were contained aboard the USS Enterprise-D. The program list code for this comedian was RN-45432. (TNG: "The Outrageous Okona", okudagram)

This character was only mentioned in writing.
The Star Trek: The Next Generation Companion, 2nd ed., p. 70 notes that the comedians on this okudagram were named after TNG staff. This character refers to teleplay writer Burton Armus.
In the remastered version of the episode, Burt Armus was replaced by Craig Weiss.
