Bullfighting was a blood sport in which a matador baited and then killed a bull.

The outcome of a bullfight was pictured in a painting of a matador which, according to Quark, was a rare example of a 20th century Human art form and was the inspiration for the flag of the first Martian colonies. (DS9: "In the Cards") The painting was, however, destroyed in 2374, when Krit and Nahsk smashed it over Quark's head. (DS9: "Who Mourns for Morn?")

In an ultimately omitted scene from the final draft script of ENT: "Stigma", Travis Mayweather referred to a sport played by the Dekendi as "sort of a combination of bullfighting and Lacrosse." [1]
