Brotherhood

A brotherhood was the friendship and support that a group of people, especially men, would understand from one another.

In 2268, while Spock mused about the parallels, he said, "It seems illogical for a sun worshipper to develop a philosophy of total brotherhood.". Kirk and the crew realized that the word "brotherhood" is spreading. (TOS: "Bread and Circuses")

In 2268, while giving a speech to the audience, Parmen said, "This night is indeed a festive occasion, for tonight, we welcome into that brotherhood its first new member." (TOS: "Plato's Stepchildren")
