Bringloid

Bringloid was the primary of the Bringloid system. Located in the Ficus sector, this G-type star was orbited by at least five planets. One of these planets, Bringloid V, was the home for a Human colony.

In 2365, this sun entered into a period of severe flare activity, necessitating the evacuation of the colony. The colonists were moved to the Mariposa colony. (TNG: "Up The Long Ladder")

This star was not named in the episode; rather, the name came from StarTrek.com.
