A breadbox was a container for storing loaves of bread.

In 2152, Trip Tucker expressed his interest in seeing the automated repair station's computer, "a machine capable of billions of calculations every nanosecond and it can fit inside the proverbial breadbox." (ENT: "Dead Stop")
