Boray

The Boray were a technologically-advanced species in the Delta Quadrant.

In 2377, the USS Voyager visited the Boray, and Lieutenant B'Elanna Torres attended a conference on transwarp theory. (VOY: "Flesh and Blood")

The Boray was a homage to the alien race of the same name from the 1978 version of Battlestar Galactica. (Star Trek Encyclopedia, 4th ed., vol. 1, p. 92)
According to the Star Trek Encyclopedia, 4th ed., vol. 1, p. 92, the conference was held on the Boray homeworld.
