Blood pudding

Blood pudding was a traditional food from Ireland on Earth.

In 2376, Neelix wanted to prepare a traditional Irish meal at The Ox and Lamb in the Fair Haven holoprogram. However, he could not decide on a main course between blood pudding, mutton and creamed cabbage. Tom Paris suggested blood pudding, but Neelix replied that replicating the lamb's intestines could be tricky. He went on to explain that every time he heated the blood, it coagulated in the milk, which caused the space sickness-affected Tuvok to leave mess hall and go to sickbay. (VOY: "Fair Haven")


Blood pudding is known as black pudding in ireland and is not typicallyt served as a main dish
