Ensign Blake was a Starfleet officer serving aboard the USS Discovery in 2257 during its mission to investigate the red bursts and the red angel.

While en route to Section 31 Headquarters, a ship-wide announcement called for Ensign Blake to report to engineering. (DIS: "Project Daedalus")
