Bionetic implant

A bionetic implant was a form of Borg cybernetic implant technology employing the principles of bionetic technology.

An interlink node was an example of a bionetic implant that permitted communication with other Borg drones. (VOY: "Counterpoint")

Kurros identified Seven of Nine as a Borg upon seeing her bionetic implants and neural transceivers. He later claimed that her innate intelligence together with the enhancements caused by her bionetic implants made her an ideal candidate for the Think Tank. (VOY: "Think Tank")

After time traveling to 2371 with the aid of the 29th century timeship USS Relativity's temporal transporter, interference caused by a temporal disruptor prevented Seven of Nine from being beamed back without damaging her bionetic implants. The alternative was Seven being found by Captain Kathryn Janeway which would contaminate the timeline. (VOY: "Relativity")
