William Jay "Bill" Gahret (born 3 February 1938; age 87) is a camera operator who worked on Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

Beside Star Trek, Gahret worked as camera operator on the western Showdown (1973), The Winds of Kitty Hawk (1978, with Jonathan West), Salvage 1 (1979), Hard Country (1981), Bustin' Loose (1981), Jimmy the Kid (1982), Bring 'Em Back Alive (1982-83), V (1984-1985, with Adam Glick), Murder, She Wrote (1984-1986), and Forever Knight (1989), Hoffa (1992), and A Child's Cry for Help (1994).
