Bevel

A bevel was a sloping edge on an object.

In 2382, both Sam Rutherford and D'Vana Tendi were able to identify a PADD that Brad Boimler carried around as being from an alternate universe because its bevel was 3.7% deeper, despite the more obvious tell, that it was red in color. (LD: "Of Gods and Angles")
