Betrayal (ethics)

Betrayal, or double cross, was the act of breaking someone's trust with deception and treachery.

In 2384, after Hologram Dal mentioned that the mystery was like the one in The Doctor's novel, Love in the Time of Holograms, he finally put it together. The Doctor then complained that he was "Betrayal by my own brilliant storylines." (PRO: "Is There in Beauty No Truth?")
