Battle of Marathon

The Battle of Marathon was a battle that took place in ancient Greece on Earth. It was mentioned as an important historical battle in the Gilbert and Sullivan song "I Am the Very Model of a Modern Major-General" from The Pirates of Penzance. (ST: "Q&A")
