Battle group

A battle group was a division of military forces comprising several smaller units.

In 2373, Kira Nerys reported that the USS Armstrong and the USS Drake had been ambushEd by a Klingon battle group, with heavy casualties. (DS9: "Apocalypse Rising")

In 2375, General Martok decided that, while they couldn't engage in a full-on battle against Dominion forces, Klingon forces would "operate in small battle groups, going in under cloak, engaging the enemy, and trying to provoke them into pursuit" (DS9: "When It Rains...")
