Bangers and mash

Bangers and mash was an Earth dish consisting of sausages and mashed potatoes.

While in command of Enterprise NX-01, Commander Tucker ordered a special meal from Chef: Bangers and mash for Lieutenant Reed and Denobulan sausage for the doctor. (ENT: "The Seventh")

The Star Trek Encyclopedia, 4th ed., vol. 1, p. 65 described this food, which was traditional to Great Britain, as being "composed of spiced ground meat cooked in a cylindrical casing, served with pureed tubers."
