Axonal amplifier

An axonal amplifier was a bioelectronic device of Borg origin, believed to be some type of neuroprocessor. It was located in the back of a Borg drone's head.

In 2373, The Doctor tentatively identified a device present on a Borg drone he and Kes were examining as an axonal amplifier. (VOY: "Unity")
