An attack satellite was a type of artificial satellite that could be used in an offensive capacity.

In 2370, Lorin accused Mauric of planning to use Federation technology to build attack satellites. She assured the Kes representative that they were prepared for them. Mauric called her accusations "an interesting but pointless lie." (TNG: "Attached")
