Atifs IV

Atifs IV was the inhabited fourth planet in its star system. This planet was located somewhere in the Alpha or Beta Quadrant.

This planet was known to the Federation by the mid-24th century. The oligarchy of the planet performed a ceremony of thanks during mealtime that had echoes in Betazoid and Oolan culture. (TNG: "Manhunt")

This planet was only mentioned in dialogue.
The way that Data pronounced this word made it appear that there was an 'r' in the name, so that it would be spelled, "Artifs". The spelling of this planet was from the script, and this spelling was used at StarTrek.com.
