Astrophysics (Federation)

Astrophysics was a Federation facility dedicated to the science of astrophysics. It was located in the San Francisco Metropolitan Area.

In 2375, this facility was recreated for Species 8472's simulation of the bay area in Terrasphere 8. This was one of the locations, along with the Federation Council and the Starfleet Medical complex, mentioned by Chakotay after his survey of the terrasphere. (VOY: "In the Flesh")
