Arterial rupture

An arterial rupture was a medical condition which had an artery ruptured.

In 2374, a crewman aboard the USS Voyager suffered from a punctured lung, arterial rupture, and a fracture of the thirteenth vertebra following a training simulation aboard Voyager by the Hirogen. (VOY: "The Killing Game, Part II")
