Arneb

Arneb, also known as Alpha Leporis, was a star and its associated star system, which was located in the Beta Quadrant. This bright yellow supergiant star was located in the constellation Lepus and was approximately 2,200 light years from Sol. It was the brightest star in its constellation.

In 2365, this star was visible from Ten Forward while the USS Enterprise-D was near 'aucdet IX. Wesley Crusher pointed it out to Guinan when she asked him what he saw looking out of the viewport. (TNG: "The Child")
