Arie'mnu

Arie'mnu was a term in the Vulcan language for the discipline of suppressing one's emotions. An individual gained mastery in this discipline over a lifetime; those who attempted to do so on a whim wouldn't be able to maintain it. (DIS: "Choose to Live")

This term was first mentioned in the novel The Wounded Sky by Diane Duane. The translation of arie'mnu was either "passion's mastery" or, less accurately, "suppression of emotions".
