Antos

Antos, also known as Kappa Delphini or 7 Delphini, was an inhabited planetary system in the Alpha Quadrant.

Notable lifeforms in this system were the Antos natives and the giant dry worms from Antos IV. (TOS: "Who Mourns for Adonais?", "Whom Gods Destroy")

Components

Stellar system

This was a binary star system.

The primary of this system was Kappa Delphini Aa. This G-type subgiant's companion Kappa Delphini Ab was a much smaller star, visually obscured by the larger Kappa Delphini A when the system was viewed from far away.

Planetary system

In this system, there were least four planets, with one of them, Antos IV, being habitable. (TOS: "Whom Gods Destroy"; DIS: "Red Directive")

Stellar cartography

The Antos system was visible from Earth in the constellation Delphinus. This system was approximately 99 light years from Sol.

On stardate 1292.4, the location of Antos was labeled in a chart used during a Section 31 Alpha Team briefing. This was depicted as a Federation system. (Star Trek: Section 31)

In 3191, this system's location was labeled on a star chart. (DIS: "Red Directive")

This star system was only mentioned in writing.
