Anthill

An anthill was a structure created by ants as a dwelling place.

In 2268, Garth of Izar bemoaned the limitations that the Federation placed on him, saying, "And yet the Federation would have us grub away like some ants on some somewhat larger than usual anthill." (TOS: "Whom Gods Destroy")
