Animal product

Animal products were edible materials originating with animals, such as meat, bone, blood, milk, eggs, fat, and cartilage.

In 2004, when ordering take-out from Burgerland, a vegetarian T'Pol asked if the Fiesta Salad contained animal products. She was told that it did not, but that they could add bacon to it for 75 cents. She then declined to order. (ENT: "Carpenter Street")
